Sean + Liana

Liana and Sean were married at the very beautiful Saint Mary’s Church in Augusta, Maine! Followed by their gorgeous reception at The Barn at Silver Oaks Estate in Winthrop, ME. It was such a perfect and beautiful day full of so much love and emotion!
Since Augusta is Maine’s capital, we took full advantage of them being married in the capital city. We ventured to Capitol Park where we took some fun bridal party photos and some great portraits of the bride and groom with the State House behind them!
Liana is originally from Minnesota and Sean is from Massachusetts. Sean moved to Maine while working as a lineman and Liana ended up moving to Maine and attending college. They met online and instantly fell for each other! After dating for a while, they both moved to Massachusetts to be together. They eventually got their beautiful golden retriever dog, Maddie, and the rest is history! Liana is an amazingly hardworking woman! One week before her wedding, she completed her Master’s Degree in Education at Cambridge College and even successfully completed her boards that week! I don’t know many bride’s that can handle that much a week before their wedding!!
There were so many beautiful moments throughout their wedding day! However, two of my favorite moments were taking portraits of Sean and Liana with their adorable golden retriever, Maddie. After we finished the bridal party photos, we stopped at their dog friendly hotel and Liana’s mother brought out Maddie. We stepped outside and took some photos and Maddie, with her adorable floral collar, just loved seeing her mom and dad so happy. Being a dog mom myself, that moment captured my heart for sure!
The second moment, was when Sean and Liana were escorted in by Horse and Carriage. Liana’s mother surprised them both! They were about a mile away from the reception barn and their carriage awaited them! They came in with two beautiful black horses carrying the bride and groom in a white carriage for all of their guests to see. It was truly magical!
