Jordan & Quinton
May 1, 2021
Acadia National Park – Bar Harbor, Maine

After waiting two long years, Jordan and Quinton finally said “I Do” on the gorgeous cliff’s of Acadia. They brought along their closest friends and family and were blessed with such a beautiful day! The wind made for some magical moments too! I am so happy for these two and I was truly honored to be there to capture it all for them.

Where do I even start? I met Jordan and Quinton in 2019 at a wedding I photographed in Bristol, Maine. They were guests there and were by far the life of the party and so much fun to watch on the dance floor.

Flash forward a few months, I receive an email from Quinton’s mother, Joan, wanting to buy them an engagement session. They were planning on getting married in Florida later in the year and already had a photographer lined up down there. So we ventured out in Waldoboro, Maine at Quinton’s family Tree Farm. Which by the way, are some of the most beautiful tree’s I have ever seen and since then that is the only place I will go to cut my tree down with my family during the holidays. All I can say is, I felt that Jordan and Q had been my long lost best friends. They are so down to earth and hilarious together. I couldn’t stop them from giggling together. They truly are so in love with each other and balance each other out so perfectly. I don’t think I have ever laughed so much at a session. We also drove to Owls Head and captured some fun photos at Birch Point State Park. We had the most beautiful evening and the lighting was on point! After we parted ways, I thought to myself, man I wish I could photograph their wedding in Florida!

So we all kept in touch over the months seeing each other here and there. I even got permission from Quinton’s family to use their Tree Farm for my annual Xmas Tree Farm Mini sessions. Can I also just say how wonderful Quinton’s family is? The Vannah’s are such a lovely and fun family. I took family photos of them at their tree farm during my xmas mini’s and once again, felt like I truly belonged and they had me in stitches the entire time. Of course when I saw Jordan and Quinton I joked about sneaking down to Florida to photograph their wedding!

Well, 2020 came and Covid hit. Poor Jordan and Quinton were dealt the tough decision to post pone their wedding. Holding on for the hope to do it in 2021 still in Florida.

Well here I was in the middle of winter in February 2021 and Jordan contacts me.  She asked if I was available May 1st and that they were planning to elope at Acadia National Park. I said “HECK YEAH I’M AVAILABLE” I felt all my dreams came true and that I was meant to be their photographer. That may be selfish of me to say but I was so honored that she reached out to me!

So May 1st came and what a day they were blessed with! They had the cutest cookies from Laugh Loud Smile big, stayed at the Harbor Side Inn that had beautiful views and were only a few miles away from their ceremony spot. We enjoyed a first look with so many giggles and a special ceremony that was run by Quinton’s brother Vinny. What a special day it was for such a special couple. Take a look below!

The most magical first look!
