I wanted to start this with the kind words that Danielle’s mom said about their experience with me while shooting Danielle’s Senior Photos:
“I would like to take this opportunity to express to anyone trying to decide who to use to capture the special senior in your life. Rachel is one of the most talented, easy going people to work with. She made my daughter feel so comfortable. She was open to ideas and even offered some to make each shot perfect. She was very accommodating to our schedule and had the gallery ready for us to see right away. I can’t even imagine using anyone else!” Lisa Ladd
I was so very lucky and honored to be able to capture Danielle’s senior photos for her this summer. Danielle will be a senior at Oceanside High School this upcoming year and has quite the future ahead of her! She plans to attend college to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. Currently, Danielle plays lacrosse and is involved with the Unified Basketball Team as well.
I’ve known Danielle and her family for a few years now. Way back when Danielle was in the 7th grade, she was in my social studies class. Yes I’m a teacher too! Now I co-taught that class so I did not see her every day but I do remember her being so respectful and sweet. I remember thinking too that she was going to grow up into beautiful young lady and that is exactly what happened! A few years down the road, I taught her younger sister Nicole and met her parents at many school functions and became acquainted with the entire family.
When her mom and I started discussing Danielle’s senior photos, I was ecstatic! Who wouldn’t want to photograph a gorgeous senior? Danielle and I chatted before the session and I was so impressed with her vision and her style. I could tell we were completely in sync and I couldn’t wait to make her vision come alive! We struggled to find that perfect location, but with the help from other photographers, we found the most gorgeous location in New Gloucester called Pineland Farms. It was HUGE, and we may have gotten a little lost but we finally found ourselves surrounded by beauty and the gated gardens. Danielle was such a natural and most of the shots were her own doing and not even realizing how stunning she looked!
Let’s talk about Danielle’s sense of style. Can you say AMAZING? She wore the most stylish and adorable outfits from American Eagle. She looked stunning and rocked it! She also did her own hair and make up! She is just one unique and amazing young lady! Now part of her vision was to bring a big floppy hat for some photos, unfortunately she forgot it so we made a plan to go to a beach on another day and take some more! I’m so glad we did, I wanted her vision and her senior photos to be absolutely perfect and everything she dreamed of!
All I can say is I was the lucky one to be able to photograph her! She put up with my crazy ideas and completely wowed me!! All I could say all night was “ohh those eyes!!”
